OPPA schedules numerous NIGP Seminars each year to assist our membership in preparing to sit for the CPPB and/or CPPO examinations.  Seminars are carefully selected and scheduled to promote the professional development procurement professionals need to be successful in their work setting and prepare to take the UPPCC Certification examination.  NIGP’s courses provide the knowledge and qualifying credits you need to become certified. 

The Professional Development Chair surveys members to help prepare the annual seminar schedule and insure seminars are selected that most closely meet the needs of our members.  OPPA works closely with the Columbia Chapter of NIGP to provide a well-rounded program for procurement professionals in Oregon and the greater Northwest.  Special requests for specific seminars are honored if there is enough interest to host a seminar.  For more information please contact Sandra Kalin, OPPA Pro-D Chair. 

Testing is scheduled by the UPPCC each year in the spring and fall.  Please visit this website for the most current information on test dates, eligibility and recertification requirements. Potential candidates for the examination should plan their course of study at least one year prior to sitting for the exam to achieve the best results.
